3. Objectives of CPHQ Certification:
The objectives of the certification program for quality professionals are to
- Promote professional standards and improve the practice of quality
- Give special recognition to those professionals who demonstrate an acquired body of knowledge and expertise in the field through successful completion of the examination process
- Identify acceptable knowledge of the principles and practice of healthcare quality for employers, the public, and members of allied professions
- Foster continuing competence and maintain the professional standard in healthcare quality through the recertification program.
4. Fees for the Examination:
The fee for 2016 exam is USD 515 or Rs 34580.

5. Exam Structure : 150 questions . 40% factual and remaining is analytical.
6. Passing Scores. The passing score is 92 out of 125 questions.
7. Recertification: The certification is for a limited period of 2 Years. The continuing recertification requires demonstrating documented participation in Healthcare Quality activities other than in ones work requirements. It includes giving lectures , attending courses an conferences.
